Ana Fossas Anguera

Environmental scientist specialized in soil science, with postgraduate training in High Mountain Ecology and Vegetation from the University of Barcelona and a Master's degree in Soil and Water Management from the University of Lleida. She has experience in research and technical work related to soil conservation, sustainable agriculture, grassland ecology, and mountain ecosystems. Her work has focused on soil erosion prevention, post-fire dynamics, invasive species, biodiversity and soil carbon assessment, and the study of sustainable agricultural practices. She has participated in research projects in protected natural areas across Spain and currently coordinates field activities for projects related to the management of cover crops in Mediterranean olive groves, as well as the study of the invasion of Pyrenean mountain grasslands by the invasive species Senecio inaequidens.
